For example, a single user computer system could contain internet/antivirus/firewall, office productivity systems, document imaging, general business software (accounting, inventory, etc), CRM+sales systems, barcoding/scanning, routing/GPS, design or project management, and many other "niche" software products to take full advantage of the computer's capabilities But the entire article was clearly discussing MS Office, not all of the software you are talking about. And my point is and was, that the incremntal changes MSFT has made to MS Office from '97 to now would be difficult to notice to the untrained eye.....certainly NOT a value proposition.
