How does that change anything? That's like saying: When the U.S. Army drove the Natives out of the Black Hills (in spite of treaties giving them that land forever), and allowed American miners in, it wasn't stealing, because the Natives had left the gold in the ground. What if the Chinese occupy ANWR, and develop it, while Americans are still arguing about whether the Caribou will breed near pipelines? My opinion is, Gaia owns it all, and She's getting pissed at the way Her children are squabbling, squandering, and soiling it.
