"You need to shut up until you have some constructive suggestions." might be using this entry requirement to simply bar dissent* -- not a productive situation iMO.* Hardly... In fact just the opposite, Faultline. I'm trying to encourage CONSTRUCTIVE DEBATE, not rhetorical monologues full of irrelevant alternatives by those who find it far easier to complain than to do the hard work associated with developing Foreign Policy.. You know that on my thread, all I've asked people to do is document their facts as much as possible, rather than just saying anything that happens to escape their alternative reality. Truth, or rather perception of truth, may be a moving target, but facts must guide our aim. Hawk
