According to the words of Jesus, quoted in writing, by those that lived, ate, and traveled, with Him, He is the light that leads us to our final destination. I believe these words because they were written by those that were physically, and spiritually, with Him when they were said. The fact that this account of these words of Jesus is in the bible, is merely coincidental as far as I am concerned

so you deem the words of Jesus to be true by those who actually lived, ate, and traveled with him, recording his sayings in the gospels. so answer me this: in matthew 24, Jesus gives validity to the words spoken by the prophet daniel.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

since you accept the quotes attributed to Jesus in the gospels of those who lived and traveled with him, and he spoke of heeding the words of daniel, then why wouldn't you do what Jesus asked and read and understand the words of daniel? in the gospels written by those who lived and walked with Jesus, there are quotes of him quoting all kinds of old testament scriptures. if these scriptures were worthy enough for Jesus to quote from, why do you not deem them worthy for you to accept?
