When I hear someone draw some comparison between Iraq and Vietnam, I immediately conclude that person knows nothing about what happened either place. There is no similarity, whatsoever. In Vietnam, the United States was under the leadership of weak liberals who didn't have the stomach for fighting and winning a war. In Iraq, Bush has shown himself to have the leadership and courage to go, do the job, and clear out when the job is done. The differences are striking; the similarities are non-existent.
