For me it's the best way most of the time... Take today for example, if I was playing the futures or short term options, I would have taken profits at 2pm... but because my puts are long term and in the money, I can let them ride now without getting too nervous... I want to see YI zero line, or preferably YI -4 or -5 before I jettison the puts.
