Neither one of them was from the NE. Mass. is just next door....and his campaign in going nowhere....fast....

True, the NH winner rarely seems to be nominated.
One thing is true though, the party favorite always wins unless a southerner with charisma takes over. That is good news for Kerry and bad news for Dean.

Assuming Lieberman, Gephardt and Edwards eventually drop out, they will all back Kerry. So the polls now mean even less. Also, less than 50% of voters are even paying attention yet. So Dean's followers may just be the most angry, energized by opposition to the war. Of course they're not very realistic since there's nothing we can do to end the war now. Now that Bush has put us in this mess without proper planning, we have to finish it.
