'You think the CIA is merely going to watch?' - you think maybe the CIA should dust off the Caravan of Death routine, arrest the Víctor Jaras, torture them for a few days and then gun them down in a stadium? .... keep active a reign of terror under which dissidents just 'disappear'? .... maybe burn a few villages of people minding their own g.d. business, do some raping and murdering over a period of years to put the Fear Of The Lords into folks, make sure lots of land mines are planted where centroamericano kids are sure to encounter them? It's not the way, frank ... for starters, the back rooms of Washington and/or Langley are not the place to decide life and death for all on the planet, or dictate who will rule them and how .... this senador Hagel - #reply-19426575 - has got it right, there should be more like him in power, he can see that it is better to work with fellow nations, get this stuff out in the light of day where criminals like Abrams and Reich can't brutalise noncombatants ... speaking of 'terrorist re-entry' ... ahem
