Ken,

A lot depends on what you are going to use the TV for. I have never been fond of the Plasma displays. They are typically lower resolution, heavy, power hogs and will probably become extinct in a few years. What you want to look for is the resolution. Dots per inch(DPI) tell the story. If you pick out a model you like send me a link and I can tell you more about it than you ever care to know. Personally if I was looking big I would go projection. This article is interesting as it tells you how big of screen goes with what sized room. Do you know anyone who has a TV screen size bigger than the room can stand. LOL.

If you give me an idea on size and price I can run it by my friends at work and probably get you a model. We typically develop our own LCDs but we keep very current on the latest Best Buy models.
