James - I think fighting with Greg is unscriptural no matter how tempting.

I think the biggest problem people has is 'presuming'

First - 'presuming' they are right when they meet up with a different opinion.
Second - 'presuming' much of what they were 'taught' was God's truth without questioning it.
Third - 'presuming' that it is God's will that they defend
what they believe at all costs and in this serve God.

Truth should be defended - but one must make sure that they are defending the truth.

Saul (Paul) thought he was serving God when Stephen was stoned.

That should serve as a HUGE warning sign to all who DEFEND anything!!!

I do not think it is IMPORTANT to battle over this question:

1 Corinthians 15:35 ¶ But some one will say, How are the
dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?

I think far too much time has been spent in godless quarrel over that issue.

The real question is not how but when.

You and I agree that either Christ returned when He said He would to that generation or our faith is in vain.

The reason I believe that Greg battled so hard for a physical resurrection was because he felt that would disprove the timing.

If it is agree that the resurrection was physical and so VISIBLE to the human eye then history would have HAD to record it somewhere and therefore it never happened.

I don't really believe Greg or anyone cares what manner of body we receive in heaven and that all men trust that whatever nature is has it will be fantastic and much improved over this dying carnal one we have in much pain and sickness in the here and now.

Are there outhouses in heaven?

Debating with Greg about the 'nature' of the resurrected body has proven a waste of time.

If he cannot see that Paul failed to define his theory in 1Cor15 then neither you not I will convince him - who are we?
