Well, you may have purchased one of the last lawnmower engines Honda imported to America, because Honda has been building lawnmower engines in North Carolina since 1984. re:"not at all Dave........I buy all machines according to their quality ratings......point of interest is that I own a honda lawn mowver that I bought in 1983.....turns over first pull every year.....amazing machine.......on the other hand briggs&stratton machines are ever so tempermental and they are manufactured in US/Canada.......garbage"
