re:"I'm confused"

Someone said that a cheaper dollar would help increase the sales of American goods. You wrote, "why would you buy a gm, ford or dodge (American) when you can buy a honda, toyota, nissan(Japanese)". I responded that honda, toyota and nissan all produce cars in the United States (and made a crack that you must be thinking about Canadian or Mexican manufactured gm, fords...).

You then compared your Honda lawn mower engine (Japanese) against a Briggs &Stratton (American) which you said was junk. I just pointed out, that Honda has been building lawn mower engines in the U.S. for almost 20 years and is thus an American product too. I didn't mean to imply that there was a difference in quality between American built Honda products, and Japanese built Honda products. If you got that impression, I'm sorry.
