The Israeli/Jewish attack against the USS Liberty was simply another example of Israel's use of terrorism to achieve their geopolitical agenda. The Jews hoped to sink the Liberty in a terrorist attack (state terrorism) and used their control of the media in the US to blame it on the Egyptians. This attack was similar to the Lavon Affair where Israel used Egyptian Jews to betray their native land and become terrorists in the service of Israel. The Jews disguised themselves as Arabs and then attacked American personnel and facilities in Egypt in an effort to turn Americans against the Egyptians.
