I don't think it's an issue of running. We should bring
in the UN - and come up with a plan to get out in the
next few months.

Some generals have speculated that we will be there through
2006. This is insane, IMHO.

We should never have gone in anyway. It is not our area
of the world. We do not belong in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, or Iraq long-term. Doing this only breeds
more resentment and hate, and makes us an occupier, which
is not a good role for us.

We should find any way to transition out - soon.

George, to put the 'you broke it, you bought it' theme in perspective, I might feel a bit better if Saudi Arabia had come out and said, gee wiz, since the majority (15 of the 19) of 9-11 hi-jackers were our citizens, we will share in the cost of re-building the World Trade Center sites, since we give tacit approval to the Wahabi who have anti-West ideology, and by proxy keep us in power...
