they overlooked a biggie........

UAW caves to Management for $3000 payoff signing bonus to each voting UAW worker.......

allowing Ford, GM, Chrysler to shut down or move offshore 10 (Ten) presently operating automotive plants and an undisclosed number of auxillary auto parts plants.......

remember this, the important number, for every autoworker out of a job, 5 non auto support jobs go with it....

regards

>>my VC is Baine<<

errr...that would be Bain, I think, if you are referring to Bain Capital.

And of course, with a data universe of one company - yours - you know everything that is going on in the tech/VC world.

I had dinner with some folks from Razorfish back in early 2000 - don't remember when exactly. It was a big bash for Boston University School of Management. Talk turned to what everyone did and I clearly remember the polite amusement of the Razorfish folks when they discovered I was an "old economy" guy. Well, you know the punchline.

My point is - don't mistake the process for the outcome. We've had lots of creative destruction, but currently we are seeing more creation than destruction.

(Post script: fuckedcompany.com was started by a former Razorfish employee who clearly lacks a sense of humor).
