Plus it helps keep corn prices up which lowers the payments on the farm bill. Gasahol vs MTBE 1. Gasahol burns much cleaner than MTBE. 2. Gasahol doesn't cause cancer like MTBE. 3. Gasahol keeps injectors and carburators clean. 4. This one won't matter to you but forget gas line freeze with gasahol. 5. Longer life in the tank. I ran my boat today on 4 year old gas. Try that with straight gas.
