OK, I get it, Ted. I was talking about the text of the memo itself, while you were talking about the fact that the memo got leaked.

Anyway, I doubt you ever trusted Rumsfeld anyway, so wouldn't you want to see what's going through the guy's head? Besides, he's not running from any word he mentioned in the memo. Even Joe Biden is considering the leak a good thing for the sake of getting to real, working solutions.

I think the leak is good for two reasons........first, I am surprised that it happened and I think it suggests Rumsfeld should not be Sec. of Defense. He may be better as an idea man behind the scenes.......he seems to rub people the wrong way way too easily. Thanks to him there is considerable animosity in the Pentagon, State, and Defense.

Secondly, we have not heard much about Ansar al Islam..........up til now, former ba'thst party members have been blamed for the insurgency. Finally, it comes to light that its Islamic terrorists. That's something the mainstream media has been saying but they have been criticized for being too negative. Now we know that Islamic terrorists are a serious problem that we haven't started to deal with.
