Hi all..Still hanging around here too, but my ill-timed investments have taken the thrill out of trading my way out of this mess. I have been periodically selling loser mutual funds [Janus, etc.] and taking some gains on bonds...but am still under water for muchos $$$. The "follow the momentum" strategy really worked; I followed the market down big time with large cap growth funds & added insult to injury by paying these crooked fund mgrs. their 1% to lose my money. My past trading experience should have taught to cut losses before they imploded...but NOoooo!
Then mom died after a terrible extended illness about the time idiot bush jr. was launching his war.
Now I'm taking a hiatus from the real estate biz, and contemplating doing something worthwhile after compromising my karma by being a salesman for the last 25 years...
Oh yeah...lots of good stuff happening too, and glad to be alive and able to share a bit of the misery with my cohorts from the bubble days. <g>
good luck to all...

ps..
the traffic problems have much abated in Silicon Valley.
[who would have thought that unemployment was the answer?]
