Didn't he ride with the James Gang? I believe he rustled Cattle with the Daltons then joined the Hole in the Wall Gang until tapped by Frank James as the dynamite man for the new Pinkerton armoured cars. Good man Callaghan. Crack any safe like an egg, and not disturb a bearer note inside. I don't think a common man ever held it against Frank or even John D. as they knew the banks had it coming. EC<:-}
