I wonder whether Michael Schiavo would be willing to divorce Terri once the money is exhausted. Too bad nobody can ethically offer to let him keep the money. Maybe some rich philanthropist can offer him a substantial sum of money to divorce her and let her parents take care of her. To me, the conflict of interest here is egregious. Even the best of us would be unable to act in her best interests in his circumstances, in my opinion.
