It's called price controls in Canada.. some drugs you cannot get in Canada because they will not pay for them. others are allocated to sick people....on as available..

Write to congressperson to get into drug coverage in United States.. tell them not to walk away from the issue and stay in congress until it is resolved.

<Why are alot of Americans importing drugs from Canada?.......obviously cheaper?.......but why are the drugs cheaper in Canada?.......are the drug companies ripping the Yankee populace off??????.......what the hell is happening here??????? >

I buy my prescriptions from Canada, 3 months at a pop, about $1000.00 worth. If I bought them here, it be $2000.00. What's happening is Canada buys the drugs in bulk for their health system, and negotiates the price with multiple drug companies competeing for the sale. The drug companies make money anyway, or they wouldn't sell in Canada (some drugs are not availible there because of this). Drug companies are major contributors to political candidates of both parties. You connect the dots...
The latest tactic of the companies is to claim Canadian drugs "unsafe", even though the ones I buy are exactly the same as the ones I could buy here, and come from the same factories.
