If he gave a speech on "company time," you can be sure he would not have said what he did in a Church situation, where they expect him to connect the terrorists with evil. I could buy this if he had appeared in a polo shirt or a suit. I can't get past the uniform. I used to be married to a regular officer. He would never have worn his uniform to church unless he was speaking for his uniform. We would never have heard of him if it wasn't for this "outing." I realize that this is stuck in your craw. I can understand that.
