I think Kerry definitely suckered into the White House scam. Evil can be very persuasive, but a Presidential candidate should be able to detect it.

An anti-war candidate cannot win in 2004 so let the left-wing attack Kerry for giving Bush qualified support. However, there is no lack of clarity over his qualifications. They were the same then as they are now and they turned out to be 100% right. Bush is FINALLY starting to take Kerry's advice, building more of a coalition 9 months later. Should have been done upfront.
