Well -- when LORD Rumsfeld's true feelings/thoughts were inadvertently blurted onto the world stage -- then the NEOCONS suddenly, in classic ditto-head fashion, were forced to reconsidered their positions of a just yesterday at this time.

I would not be surprised if Rummy "took one for the team" under the pretense/guise of a "leak" -- and simply stated what the ADMIN has known all along. This way Bush can simply state that the views are that of Rummy and not exactly his -- although, at the same time, Bush can now turn around and hedge. He can now state that Rummy's secret tirade does have some merit in truth (unfortunate as it is) -- instead of (GOD FORBID,) Bush acknowledging/validating what the opposition has been screaming about for months on end now.

I wonder how foolish Tony Blair feels right now? How deep are they going to let his ship sink? Clinton warned Tony, over and over, not to tie his ship to this dock.
