Frank, don't thank me for a nomination I didn't make. If I thought your opinion was representative of the folks bookmarking the thread, I wouldn't waste my time writing posts. And as far as characterizing me of having tactics of disruption and attack... well, I can't apologize for attacking banal theories and poorly based arguments on which ill advised investment decisions have rested. But personal attacks? Not except as a reply in kind. This was my first post to this thread in months: Message 19428820 Counterpoint. On point to the discussion at hand, on topic. Facts and logic. Next note Mike Buckley's response: siliconinvestor.com Which post contained a personal attack? Anyone with the temerity to state "The emperor has no clothes" is bound to alienate a few naked emperors. Goes with the territory. And these naked emperors? It's easy to identify who they are: the folks claiming to be under attack and launching their own attacks in kind. Good luck with your moderated thread. But you might want to keep in mind that truth finds its own way past censorship.

Looks like we now have both a moderated board and a moderator - a thankless task - but I am glad that you accepted the call and did so expeditiously. I should point out, however, that you didn't even give me a chance to second that "nomination" (or taunt to action or whatever it was) when it was tendered. I consider that a violation of my civil liberties, my right to free speech, my inability to protect myself from myself or Geoffrey Moore ... <g> All kidding aside, it was time. I'll keep a bookmark here, perhaps lurk occasionally. and on occasion refer back to some of the fine and informative posts that have been made here. I will be posting on the newly created moderated thread henceforth, and this will be my last post here. Best to all those that feel like keeping a 'flame' burning here. - Eric -
