I understand the question, but what is your point? ...should we ignore alternatives -- in the need to know JUST HOW LOW we need to go beforehand? Progress can be made incrementally without drastic disruptions to society/big biz. However, the BUSH admin wants to "turn the clocks back" in order to pay back its big-monied campaign contributors who have little/no true desire to lay out their portion of the cash thats required to make such progress. -JH
