The RNC picks out certain details to try and slander someone by totally exaggerating. They also use old out-dated votes when even Bush Sr. and the GOP was in agreement about cutting defense spending. Kerry has become gradually less dovish over the years and hardened up his stances after 9-11 as everyone else did. I notice the RNC doesn;'t mention that Kerry recently voted for the largest defense spending increase since WWII. I guess both parties do this kind of thing but it really has to be taken with a big grain of salt. I could pick out GW Bush details which if seen alone would make him look like he ought to be in prison.
