The NRA backed the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Gun Owner's Protection Act of 1986 that made the creation of new machine guns for ownership by individuals impossible. The NRA also backed the instant background check which I also agree with. I also agree with a lot of both of the previous acts. Well how many jealous homicides are there in a year? 100, 200,300? The largest percentage of the 10,000 "gun deaths" each year were justifiable homicides either by police or individuals defending themselves, or by criminals who aren't allowed to buy guns in the first place killing each other or innocents.
