Re AUO
Since this is a risk, may as well go for the big money.
There is continual replacement of portable phones, now with color displays and improved performance- including computers, maybe even TV.
The acreage of big flat screens to be sold is obvious.

Its a minnie boom. The difficuly is in putting aside the past- dismissing beas, qcom, fdry, msft, intc, cpq, all the past glories. They all served their purpose, can still be used- but mostly for trading, but pale in comparison to those we are discussing.
I am not yet ready to "play it safe" like Buffetts game
in Brka, there is too much potential here.
But its so hard to discuss what to do with various stocks discussed on the thead that everyone has to play their own game.
I mix up some signficant investments in stocks I know and trust, like Dell and tsco, and kind of sit on those to provide a sense of peace and security.
Then reach out and grab the gold without getting burned too bad,
Its like rushing into an occupied bears den while they are sleeping ,steal something of value, and make a fast exit.
I think you are on the right track. This can be so easy
Just need the right attitude, fight the past a bit.
Dell gave us a hint years ago, when he signed up for the entire output of an Asian LCD factory for $5 billion.
