Actually Moore is an NRA member and grew up a typical blue collar Catholic Reagan democrat type. He just got mad as hell and decided not to take it anymore when his hometown of Fliny got screwed over by the Republicans and corporations. Moore is a #1 author and Oscar winner. Heston is an old man who made some cool movies in the 60's but turned into a right-wing idealogue with a cold, cruel side to him. I don't think Heston has anything positive to teach Americans. Moore may be very controversial, but every one of his works opens up an entire new debate in America. He's really brilliant.
