"For the record, management owns more shares than the readers of this board in the aggregate, I'm pretty sure. At the same time they have a vested interest in the stock doing well since low priced stock doesn't yield much when options are converted and sold. and we all know that no one gets rich on salaries - except those in the stratosphere of outfits like the NYSE."

For the record the top executives sold over $30mil stock during the bubble years while the company was bleeding investor's capital and losing money as part of their compensation. Noam even changed the name of the company recently from my retirement vehicle(his was loaded) to most reliable vendor.

His interest in the stock price is minimal. As apparently is his interest in profits(take a look at financials), controlling costs, enhancing shareholder value(42%++ share growth since 2001)....

DJ...Really great quote...one to remember...thanks...I guess I am indeed bonkers. Excuse me while I dribble in my coffee ( vbg )...You are not being argumentative at all. Can you suggest a better adjective? "Informationally constipated "( sic )...

Wasn't there a definition of insanity being doing (or wishing) the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome the next time?

Just great....
