Assuming that is true, which btw its extent is far smaller than you think, what is your point? Growing up we all saw kids who were in favor and that others were jealous of (pretty cheerleader sluts, geeky clumsy brainiacs, dumb jocks, etc etc) However I don't recall them beating up the jealous masses. Nor did the jealous unwashed masses affect their lives adversely.

Haves and have nots......we, USA, are always blamed for the good life

Lots of folks are poor in the USA, and having lived there I always warn European folks who are thinking of moving there...

(1) Don't be poor in the USA, you would be better off where you are.

(2) Don't get divorced there.

In my view living in the USA is a mixed bag... nothing special then many other countries. Just another game of snakes and ladders. The ladders are bigger but so are the snakes. In recent years, with all the out sourcing of jobs, the ladders are getting shorter too. So now you have just the bigger snakes.... Private health and lawyers ready to sue your butt if some one thinks they can do it.
