I cannot tell how many Christian Republicans are coding or making the distinction or ignoring the distinction for political purposes or are simply ignorant of the distinction between freedom of religion and Christian supremacy The only way I know to judge those type of things are by the results of their actions. I you run over my flower bed, I don't know your motives. I have to judge you by how quickly you pay to get it fixed. The History of any type of Religious or Secular movement is that it is subject to the "psychology of crowds." Individually, they may be fine people. As a group,they will run over you if they get the chance.

Well said, Karen, and I am more in agreement than you can guess. There is much to consider however, with the tapes and actively invading Boykin's privacy, for what I consider to be political motives only. What if Arkin had gone to Moslem Mosques, targeting several, for two years....and then sent tapes to NBC...only wrote the most inflammatory things, and suggested these folks were "independent voters" but with a Democratic leaning. ?????? Insert any Religion in place of Moslem, and you will understand where I am going. Let's say Boykin was a Moslem. (or any other Religion)...Further, let's suppose that he had the identical background that Boykin has. Wouldn't most of us consider what has been done, as "hate mongering..." I tire of this for now, and you probably feel the same. I think that all of us had better give some sincere thought to what is happening today. This is just but one example.
