SS, thanks for posting this. Over the past 20+ years i took my family on vacation to the Outer Banks some +/- 20 times. It's a wonderful place. ("Almost" bought property there... regret not having done so... it would be a ten-bagger by now). I am very familiar with the Hatteras Village... sorry to hear that it got "separated" from the rest of the US... g/ng. Hopefully, I would expect that the ocean would have retreated soon afterwards... as usual. It is also regrettable that the "Guardians" are so nasty and unfriendly: Al-Qaida and the Iraqi bombers have no need to bother. America is destroying itself. Who in hell is this Mr. Matthew Engel - who allows himself to talk like this? If we slow down developing, he'll holler about our failure to develop.
