I had the same attitude. But I have A and B, and joined Kaiser here in Hawaii. Kaiser is terrific for prevention, because you don't mind going again and again at $10 a pop. I see a Dermatologist twice a year, and get the sunspots burnt off. For the first time, I really have my BP under control. I have what little testing I need done on a regular basis. Very happy with them.

I know there are some HMO "Hells" out there. But even the worst of them is better than what we would get under universal coverage.
