Republicans to claim credit for this luxurious giveaway to seniors

This is actually a luxurious giveaway to the drug companies.

The $900/year seniors now pay will be an average of $900/year in co-pay after the bill is passed... The only difference is confining the drugs to domestic purchase and making sure there's a $400 BILLION transfer of taxpayer dollars directly to the drug companies.

A massive fraud, on a huge scale that hasn't been seen seen Reagan's S&L fraud.

Anyone who votes for this is a spineless representative of drug company payola, and not representing the American citizen, of any age.

By doing so, they will allow Bush to hammer at them all next year for being obstructionist.

No way, thats lets them off too easy. People don't care about obstructionist. Bush needs to hammer them for being mean spirited to senior citizens and depriving much needed benefits to seniors. Its payback time for Dems lies about "cuts" to social security/medicare from 1996 and 1997. Slowing the growth is not a cut.
