AS a concept, it seems a bit out of most peoples Ken. Moving to cash as an investment itself it just catching on, and the idea of non US instruments far removed from J4P

For sure Jay, the world is changing quickly and those who resist expanding their bag of tricks into other currencies and foreign markets will deny themselves great opportunities and flexibility. As an example, if US investors held CDN stocks in the past 3 months they would have appreciated + 15 % on the currency conversion alone as you well know. I'm afraid it will take the next generation of investors who grow up within a global arena and are comfortable with it. Much like the high tech experience of today has left the better part of a generation of + 60 year olds in the dark.

In the meantime the least that J6P and some experienced investors who cannot move forward should do is get exposure to the far east utilizing select North American companies. Those investors will be able to buy in their own markets and their own currency. Witness the following:
