The "Red Dean" gets Vermont, if he puts in the time and resources there. Outside of that-there's not a state he can even run close in.

It's like you lefties are pretending that the California recall never happened-and it was only earlier this month that the people of that "blue" state wrote it large on the wall for you to read.

The Wellstone Funeral goes national in 2004, and there may not be a Democrat left after it rolls through...

Exactly. Could be a very close race which means we need Kerry-Clark to take Bush's pro-military vote away. Once stripped of that, Bush will fall in battleground states, being unable to wage his typical political war, posing with the troops and trumpeting his strength against "the enemy". Anyone you know who supports Dean, talk to them and explain. We cannot risk defeat by going with an anti-war liberal who wants 100% tax increases. That guarantees defeat. Just like the Naderites but on a grander scale, the Deanies could hand Bush the White House. Realism is necessary now. The GOP will take full advantage if the Dems pick the Dukakis type.
