A few more incidents like this and the administration will figure out what almost everybody else has: recall the Iraqi army and transfer sovereignty to the Iraqis ASAP. Let them handle the insurgents, using their methods.

To really control Iraq with US troops we need "hundreds of thousands of troops", just like the dismissed army chief of staff (Shinseki) said before the war. To do this we need the draft back.
