so, in your opinion, is "the media" responsible for the public's distaste for this war?

Because I have to tell you, that when I was watching that "shock and awe" spectacle in my living room, which I NEVER supported, there was nary a non-supportive voice from any media source, except foreign news you could pull off the internet.

"The liberal media" gave Bush a free ride much to the displeasure of folks like myself. Now, there is some criticism of Bush policies on major networks, and constant cheerleading on Fox. Again not exactly damning positions from the media. So if Bush can't turn this around I think he has his staff to blame, most notably Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld. Although I see the republicans are trying to find a scapegoat in the CIA to take the fall now. I'm not sure that will work.
