thanks, there are miles of open space between me and the fire with no fuel. So far, the fire has been burning through eucalyptus grove in Scripps Ranch and dry brush through Miramar. That is just unstoppable. Once it reaches the densely populated areas, I assume it will take a bunch of homes but it will be much easier to control at that point. If this fire reaches me, thousands of houses would be gone. At this point, I am guessing that hundreds more homes are going to be gone in the next few hour.
