re:"You're correct. But there weren't any half-truths in what I posted."

What are they then, deliberate lies?

re:"I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US Treasury"

The US Treasury is not bankrupt, and the U.S. budget deficit, is comparable (in terms of %of GDP) with large European countries like Germany and France.

re:"I set the all time recorded for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market"

The market drop began in March of 2000. And 2000 was the worst single year in NASDAQ history. The Dow? It peaked in January 2000 (a year before Bush became President).

re:"I presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history"

The California Energy crisis began in May 2000. In July and August 2000, Governor Davis wrote to the FERC and President Clinton asking for help (and complained THEN of market manipulation from out of state producers).

Question:"President Bush didn't really do anything until his approval rating in California had fallen to 26 percent. Isn't that true?"

Gov. Gray Davis:"He appointed Brownell and Pat Wood. They helped save our behinds. He may have taken a while to do it, and I think the world of President Clinton but the Clinton administration didn't give us any help. They were just trying to get us to raise rates 300-400 percent and I wasn't going to do that."

re:"I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any nation in the history of the world. Notably Enron, WorldCom and Global Crossing"

In November 2001, Enron had to restate its earnins for 1997 thru 2000 and the first 3 quarters of 2001. Worldcom began improperly stating earnings in the late 90's. Yes, the problems came to light and became Scandals during the Bush Administration, but who was President when these abuses started?
