This is an indisputable fact, and it is clear why this has occurred: The liberals want power. They don't care how they get it, they want it. So you have them putting politics ahead of basic decency. You have Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton hijacking the Constitution to get judicial power. You have liberals like Al Franken insidiously lying to mislead numbscull voters. And you have extremist liberal politicians like Howard Dean intentionally trying to drive a wedge between the parties. Not everything in this world is predicated on power and money. I have no interest in power and I am a liberal. Many of us are disturbed by the severe right turn our gov't has taken. We thought you were wrong before the war, you've been proven wrong by the disasters of the past few months, and yet you refuse to desist and step down. Mistake after serious mistake has been made and yet you deny the truth, and pretend the media is misrepresenting your position and the conditions in Iraq. In the ME, the hatred grows with each passing day. First it was the people, now its the leaders speaking out against the US. Nothing has been gained and much has been lost. I knew Bush was lying but I had hoped he was not when we attacked Iraq. Had they been true, there would have been some justification for the war, now there is none. This lies at the feet of the power starved liberals -- liberals who could not stand to lose power after Clinton held office for 8 years of national embarrassment. Seriously, I don't know how long this nation can stay together. The verbal terrorism that you all.......Harris, Coulter, O'Reilly, Hannity etc......spit out day after day is vulgar and disgusting. The hatred the left feels for the right is akin to the hatred the Muslims feel for this country. It will take decades to heal the wounds you have opened.
