the thing about the true libertarians, as I am sure you realized when you were in the party (if you were) is that that level of 100% freedom is difficult to implement. Libertarians allow procurement of nuclear missiles by radical groups in Idaho, for example, all in the name of freedom. That might be ok if they didn't have any neighbors. And the fact that libertarians support just about anything tends to attract the lunatic fringe to the party too.

I don't know if you've ever seen Piekoff interviewed on a talk show, but he really comes off as something of a nut.
