A good amount of them might not have, no. That's true. However, I'm more likely to characterize them as having put themselves in a position to be mislead rather than being victims of a misleading individual. If they were stupid enough to consume, wholesale, what he was serving up, well...perhaps there's a lesson embedded in this situation. At any rate, I think it's somewhat early to determine what, if anything, the long-term effects of this episode will be. I'm certainly interested in seeing how this event will affect his seemingly devout following - to say nothing of the influence on his philosophical output! - if he ultimately decides to continue in talk radio.
