Silly
courage has nothing to do with logic
or the merit of your cause
it is merely a brazeness in the face of danger and death
I KNOw, I know, you think only the good guys have that- but it does pollute your thinking to analyze things that way- it makes you tend to underestimate the enemy. I'm afraid our current administration is infected with your kind of thinking- it hasn't done much for America, imo.

My understanding isn't to blame for anything- but I understand and have compassion for your need to blame me for thinking clearly-
however, my compassion for you has nothing to do with enabling your sloppy thinking either, got it?

cour·age ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kûrj, kr-)
n.
The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger, fear, or vicissitudes with self-possession, confidence, and resolution; bravery

You should pick up a past issue of Discover magazine. I forget the month but it was recent. There was an article about the psychology of suicide bombers written by a respected psychologist who has studied them for many many years. The picture written by the media of bombers being poor, uneducated and borderline insane is about 180 degrees from the truth. Most are college educated, middle class, and show no signs of insanity. Of course there may be differences in Iraq, but almost all the cases he studied and researched were in the Middle East. Very interesting reading and I recommend it. I can give you the exact month once I get back home.
