Red cross is not a red herring to a militant uneducated guerilla. We should realize that right away, and use the red crescent- unless you aren't really interested in minimizing civilian casualties, and are more interested in your own dogma. Me, I'd prefer to take into account what makes our enemy tick, the better to defend against them.

I wonder if Rruf will be able to spot a real personal attack?

Thanks for your response. I don't think it's a liberal v conservative, American v European, Buddhist v Jew v Christian v Muslim thing. Maybe I'm naive, but I think it's a humanitarian thing to condemn this type of tactic.
