>>short term trading is better than long term investing huh<< Yes, especially so for those unwilling to sustain large draw-downs while they wait, the nervous, and those that are at a point in their lives where they are unable and/or unwilling to experience short term loss. Of course that also implies someone has the time, and mind-set to want to trade. Once again simple questions don't always mean a single simple answer, everyone is different. For a large % of the population that means...do nothing. They just go on with their lives and don't even think about stocks.
