Yes, I agree with 'delay'... but that can't keep purchases down 40% forever.

With boats, it made a heck of a lot more sense to buy in Brazil (to avoid the 10% luxury tax)... just as Brazilians used to smuggle in US computers to avoid the 30% tariff.

I wonder if the extra 1.35% can have as large an effect on cars (but the property tax seems really high already).
