I thank you for putting up with the inconvenience. It means a lot to us in the north. I take your point. But it is an inconvenience. It's an inconvenience I would gladly suffer if there were some good reason for it. I don't think that there is. At least I haven't heard one yet. No matter where we live in the world, there are a fixed number of hours of daylight. It's not like Daylight Saving Time actually saved daylight. It just moves it around on the clock, or rather moves the clock around the daylight. So if you want your kids to walk to school in daylight, schedule school during daylight hours. There's no need to move the whole clock around. Like, duh.
